Speaker 1: The Money Show shape Shifters, Well tonight, your shape shifter is someone who really has Speaker 1: helped to revolutionize an industry, and he did it in a way that looks on Speaker 1: the face of it to be completely impersonal, but there was a personal touch which Speaker 1: suddenly became very important. I'm talking about the co founder of Yuppie Chef, Andrew Smith, Speaker 1: and he's with us now. Andrew, good evening. It's really good to meet you, and Speaker 1: thank you so much for taking time to speak to us on the Money Show. Speaker 2: Good Evening, Stephen, love you to be here. Speaker 1: So you were, I say, messing about on websites and things. You were doing a Speaker 1: lot more than that in nearly two thousands. You were also designing intranets for people. Speaker 1: There were the sort of part of the big new thing at the time. This Speaker 1: was, you know, the early two thousands, there was a little bit of e commerce Speaker 1: around, not a lot. Where did the idea for yuppy Chef come from? I mean, Speaker 1: did it suddenly arrive in your brain fully formed? Speaker 3: Well, no, not yuppy shif itself. But yeah, we were selling our time by the Speaker 3: hour, which is building websites, doing programming for other companies, and I think a lot Speaker 3: of people who do that dream of selling a product. You know, they want to Speaker 3: wake up on the Monday morning and see the sales they've made over the weekend Speaker 3: having arrived in their bank account.
