Speaker 1: For the money show business unusual vexed issue of taking leave. I mean, so many Speaker 1: people don't want to take leave. So in some companies people don't Speaker 1: like to take leave. That's the way. It makes me a bit nervous. Always think Speaker 1: they might need to be an investigation there, but they also take an example from Speaker 1: someone. How important is the example of the leader when you're trying to get people Speaker 1: to take leave. Speaker 2: Good Evening. So I always say that leave is it's not a labor thing, it's Speaker 2: not a policy issue. It's really a cultural issue because regardless of how much leave Speaker 2: a company provides for their employees, whether or not they actually take that leave boils Speaker 2: down to how do things work around here? And often that is indicated or demonstrated Speaker 2: and role modeled by the leader and the the people who are managing teams. And Speaker 2: it's not about necessarily just about whether they themselves take leave, but also the stance, Speaker 2: the snide side comments, the slight rolling of the eyes, the general how do we Speaker 2: appreciate or not appreciate people who are taking leave, even if it's been allocated to Speaker 2: them, even if it is their right, And so leave is very much more a Speaker 2: cultural thing than it is a policy issue.
