My name is Carl Wastey and Speaker 2: as you may know, there is a huge, incredibly important cause in South Africa that Speaker 2: has happened, and it's happened with not a lot of spotlight until a friend of Speaker 2: mine walks in and makes the biggest fuss possible about it, and then suddenly people Speaker 2: start lifting their heads. It's very sad that it took that, but he's gone through Speaker 2: every single stride to make it happen. And period poverty in South Africa, it's ridiculous Speaker 2: that that has to be a thing that we had to live through, that that Speaker 2: we go to places where condoms are free, and yet we go to a lady's Speaker 2: bathroom and there's nothing there that can actually have the same sort of connection. And Speaker 2: that is why I love the fact that this Menstruation Foundation was co founded by Speaker 2: a friend of mine who's coming in with a new I'm going to call it Speaker 2: a tactic. I'm going to call it a marketing stunt, call it, but I just Speaker 2: think it's pure genius to put a spotlight on this very very important cause.
