Speaker 1: Being a millennial or even a gen xer, I believe is actually a blessing, even Speaker 1: though I have some apprehension about getting older, But I think it's a blessing because Speaker 1: we got to live, or we got to live in two different eras right, the Speaker 1: era of social media the era of now. And don't get me wrong, I don't Speaker 1: have anything against social media. I think it's great. I love the technological advancement. We've Speaker 1: never had more access to information that we do have now, We've never been more Speaker 1: connected, but we've also had the blessing of living in an era before social media. Speaker 1: Now. The reason why I bring this up is because it's been five days since Speaker 1: Drake dropped not one, but three albums, and since then, all I've seen on my Speaker 1: social media are deep dives, think pieces, breakdowns, hate love, and even though that has Speaker 1: its place right, I must admit that it has ruined the new album listening experience Speaker 1: for me and it makes me miss saving up money and going down to Musica Speaker 1: in Tiger Valley when a new album drops, and then asking the sales assistant if Speaker 1: I could listen to that new album at one of the listening stations and they Speaker 1: would hand you their headphones. They would pop in the CD and we didn't care Speaker 1: who else's ears were on those crusty, musty, dusty headphones.
