Speaker 1: A Big Book of Little Stories, Book four, Chapter one, Playing the Game. It was Speaker 1: a cool day in January and the under ten soccer team jumped off the bus, Speaker 1: talking loudly. They were on their way to play their final match for the season. Speaker 1: Everyone was excited about the final game between new Town School and Seaview Primary School. Speaker 1: Anna and Mundo were the only girls in the new Town team. They hoped they Speaker 1: would be good enough to beat sea View Primary. Anna and Mundo imagined the team Speaker 1: winning the trophy. Eleven year old Mundu imagined scoring the winning goal. Suddenly, she gave Speaker 1: a loud cry as she fell into a hole. Help me, she wailed, Anna, Peter Speaker 1: and Jabu ran back and helped her out. Oh no, she cried, as she hopped Speaker 1: about on one leg. I can't stand on my foot. She sat down on the Speaker 1: grass. I hope I haven't broken my ankle, she said tearfully. If Mundu can't play, Speaker 1: it means I can't play.
