Monama joined Nonn for a conversation about the state of the South African jazz industry, his thoughts on keeping the genre alive and his new book “Introduction to South African Guitar Styles Vol. 1. Monama also serenades us with his guitar giving a mixture of traditional ethnic sounds, African gospel and umaskandi.
