Speaker 1: Well, let's focus our attention once again on Parliament. We heard Lindsay Dentlinger earlier saying Speaker 1: giving us a sense of what the Standing Committee on Public Accounts had to say Speaker 1: about the finances of the City of Johannesburg not particularly complementary. I think it's fair Speaker 1: to say. Also going on in Parliament and currently underway now is first of all, Speaker 1: President saw Rama also delivering his budget votes and now the political parties, particularly the Speaker 1: opposition, are responding to that. This is what's now called the budget debate. But let's Speaker 1: go back on the budget speech itself, the presidency budget speech there may be more Speaker 1: precise and welcome to the show. Our other EWN colleague down in Parliament, Baballo Danze Speaker 1: very good often in too, but Ballo, the President's speech obviously ranges quite far and Speaker 1: wide. One of the things I understand the President spoke about was issues around illegal Speaker 1: immigration and undocumented migrants, and he made a couple of points in that regard. Speaker 2: I believe, Ah, yes, indeed, it's the obvious talking point at the moment, you know, Speaker 2: across the country. John So, the President definitely touched on this matter and he says Speaker 2: basically that you know, when it comes to immigration. You know, a regulation of migration Speaker 2: can help drive economic growth. So he's calling for this to be more better regulated Speaker 2: by Home Affairs, the Border Management Authority and other you know state players to you Speaker 2: know, make it regulated.
