Speaker 1: It is car Talk on Cape Talk. Now listen to this. The Western Cape government's Speaker 1: Department of Infrastructure has officially launched a new mobile app called Roads for You. It's Speaker 1: aimed at making it easier for the public to report road related problems directly from Speaker 1: their smartphones. It's available on both Android and iOS. The app also allows residents to Speaker 1: report issues such as potholes, damaged road surfaces, faulty traffic lights, and faded road signs, Speaker 1: with the exact GPS location automatically attached to each report. And this is for improved Speaker 1: accuracy and faster response time. Roads for You is designed to improve communication between road Speaker 1: users and authorities by automatically directing reports to the correct road authority, whether that's the Speaker 1: City of Cape Town Central or any other agency.
