Walk The Talk 2026: Turning city steps into support for the homeless

Speaker 1: Perhaps the time new conversation is to think about some of the wider issues around Speaker 1: inner city living and what it means for those who are not lucky enough even Speaker 1: to live in some of those buildings. Speaker 1: Organizers are of course encouraging anybody who wants to take part in the seven oh Speaker 1: two Josie Josie Walk the Talk to walk for a cause, to walk in support Speaker 1: of people less fortunate than ourselves, and homelessness is certainly one of the issues that Speaker 1: will come to mind. So really the idea is that instead of cash handouts, you Speaker 1: can purchase vouchers that could help people who are really, really at the bottom end Speaker 1: of our society find food, find shelter, find clothing, perhaps even rehabilitation support.
