Speaker 1: And the Midlunger Commission of Inquiry continuing to hear explosive testimony about alleged corruption and Speaker 1: criminality within our own law enforcement structures. Just to remind you, this week, former Hawks Speaker 1: officer Carl Sunder telling the Commission that the suspects who stole a cocaine consignment worth Speaker 1: around two hundred million round plus stolen from the Hawk's own offices in Guasalin, Natalel Speaker 1: in twenty twenty one, telling us that those suspects were known and have links to Speaker 1: senior management within the unit. Now, of course, that testimony shedding light on concerns about Speaker 1: investigative integrity, also taking us into questions around a polygraph test that Sunders himself was Speaker 1: forced to undergo that had suggested he had acted deceptively that later deemed to be Speaker 1: invalid due to serious errors by the examiner, so calling it to question so much Speaker 1: here integrity, the skill of investigating officers, questions about accountability within the Hawks, the handling Speaker 1: of major drug traffic and investigations, and so much more.
