Speaker 1: New show at the Massambe Theater at the Baxter, that's the one downstairs. One of Speaker 1: my favorite performers I love. I haven't watched her work enough. I had the great Speaker 1: delight of sharing a cast with her in the first production of Shakespeare in Love Speaker 1: with the Few Guard quite a few years ago. She's also in a fabulous, fabulous Speaker 1: children's author and Bianca Flander's BALI how are you? Speaker 2: And I'm good John, how are you? I'm so excited to talk to you. I Speaker 2: last saw you you were dazzling us on stage. Speaker 1: And I last saw you you were talking about your latest book in the installment Speaker 1: of the children's series that you are writing. So this interesting sounding show one woman Speaker 1: show, but it's not a you know, it's sort of if you like multi genre, Speaker 1: putting it all together in an hour. Speaker 2: Yes, I basically had to rely on a lot more smart and creative people than Speaker 2: I am to kind of bring it all. So it's lots of South Africa's most Speaker 2: incredible writers and artists sign artists. But then the person you see on stage is Speaker 2: me. So it's kind of like a very saucy picture book reading for grown ups, Speaker 2: with beautiful art and music and. Speaker 1: The title Kara Monk, Where does that come from? Speaker 2: Oh? Well, I'm obsessed with food, and it's quite difficult to think of something that Speaker 2: sort of ties together all of these stories.
